Khowarib Lodge’s sister company, Kunene Tours & Safaris, has been
running expeditions into Kaokoland and to the Kunene river bordering Angola
for more than 15 years. Under the leadership of Caesar Zandberg, the company
has developed an enviable reputation for providing safaris that deliver true
adventure.
Using their extensive knowledge of the area, Kunene Tours & Safaris has
developed a selection of trips that give you the opportunity to experience
the majesty of the remote North West. All safaris start and finish at
Khowarib Lodge. Clients can leave their vehicles at the lodge for the
duration of the trip or self-drive if they have an appropriate 4x4.
Each tour is fully guided and all camping equipment and meals are provided.
Kunene camp staff will carry out all camping and service duties. Nights
camping can be supplemented with lodge stays if appropriate facilities are
available.
